National Police Development Program (NPDP)

The National Police Development Program (NPDP) is a program implemented by the Philippine National Police (PNP) to enhance the capabilities and professionalism of the police force. The program was launched in 2018 and aims to achieve the following key objectives:

Public Benefits Agency (PBA)

The Public Benefits Agency (PBA) is a government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC) in the Philippines. It is responsible for:

• Administering social welfare programs: Implementing government programs that provide financial and medical assistance to eligible beneficiaries.
• Managing Social Security System (SSS) contributions: Collecting and managing SSS contributions from employers and employees.

NPDP and PBA Partnership

The NPDP and PBA have partnered to provide financial assistance to police officers enrolled in training programs under the NPDP. The PBA grants police officers interest-free loans to cover expenses such as tuition fees, book costs, and living expenses during training.
